Congratulations, you’ve successfully completed all of your course work and you’re ready to graduate. Here are answers to some questions you may have at this stage.
Do I have to apply to graduate?
No, once you’ve completed all of your course work, your name is automatically forwarded to Academic Council for graduation. We have five graduation periods throughout the year, normally: February, May, July, October and December. Your degree will be mailed from the Registrar’s Office a few weeks after your graduation date. You can find more information here Graduation & Convocation Page.
Can I put BA after my name as soon as I finish my courses?
No, you must wait until you’ve graduated. As noted above, this happens five times a year so you don’t have to wait very long before you can list your credential.
How do I find out about attending Convocation?
You’ll normally receive a notice that convocation is upcoming. We have two ceremonies a year, usually in June and November. You’ll be advised to visit the convocation webpage for details.
How long do I have after I complete my courses to download material from Moodle?
Please see the prepare to graduate page in the IT Knowledgebase.
