{"id":3649,"date":"2020-12-18T02:45:23","date_gmt":"2020-12-18T10:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/royalroads.yourdevsite.ca\/malat-course-preproduction\/lrnt521n\/?page_id=124"},"modified":"2024-02-09T10:20:28","modified_gmt":"2024-02-09T18:20:28","slug":"schedule","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/commons.royalroads.ca\/cals500\/schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Course structure:<\/h3>\n<p>The course schedule includes the following components on a weekly basis:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Live sessions with the instructors will take place on a weekly basis, consisting of (a) open discussion based on prior material (e.g. questions about last week&#8217;s readings, comments on the discussion forum), and (b) material related to that week&#8217;s topics and readings.\n<ul>\n<li>Participation is encouraged, but not mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>The sessions will be recorded and available to view afterwards.<\/li>\n<li>In some weeks, guest lecturers will join for part of the live session.<\/li>\n<li>In some weeks, live sessions may be replaced by office hours as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Each week has required readings and most have optional additional readings. Guidance on where sections of readings to focus on will be provided in <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.royalroads.ca\/moodle\/mod\/book\/view.php?id=620222\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resources &#8220;Book&#8221;
