As the final unit of CALS 501, this unit provides an opportunity for a meta-synthesis of your learning to consider the core characteristics, mindsets, and competencies of climate action leadership, as you understand it, and the opportunities and challenges of such leadership.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 id=\"22\">Unit 6 \u2013 Activity 2 | Seminar (synchronous)<\/h3>\n<p>Please attend the Unit 3 Seminar, <span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Tuesday\u00a0 June 7th, 16:00-18:30 PT<\/strong>.<\/span> This seminar will be an opportunity to reconnect with each other and critically reflect on the learning from CALS 504 and the ways in which this course informs your emerging trans disciplinary thinking about climate action.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Unit 6 &#8211; Activity 3 | Contribute to the MACAL course community<\/h3>\n<p>This is a reminder that really is in place for the entire program &#8211; to take time to review and comment on other blogs posts from your MACAL student peers prior to considering how to craft your next one.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Complete Assignment 6 &#8211; blog post (individual)<\/h3>\n<p>See the <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.royalroads.ca\/cals501-2022\/assessment\/assignment-7\/\">Assignment 6<\/a> description.<\/p>\n<p>Think of your blog posts as critical academic reflection where you are analyzing and synthesizing as you make connections between theory and practice. Academic blogging requires\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/writeonline.ca\/reflective-essay.php?content=intro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">critical reflectio<\/a>n and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/library.royalroads.ca\/writing-centre\/academic-writing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">critical thinking and writing,<\/a>\u00a0a process of analyzing and synthesizing ideas, making links between theory and practice, and in the case of MACAL, applying a transdisciplinary lens to your thinking.
