In this assignment, you will prepare a complete business case for a \u201clive\u201d client provided by the program.\u00a0 Your business case will provide a compelling rationale for undertaking a specific adaptation activity that addresses a priority.<\/p>\n

Instructions:<\/h2>\n

  1. Consult with your client to gain a better understanding of the organization\u2019s goals, values and decision-making processes;<\/li>\n
  2. Identify the organization’s priority climate risks and opportunities;<\/li>\n
  3. Through research, identify a minimum of three options for consideration, one of which must be \u201cbusiness as usual\u201d;<\/li>\n
  4. Using the appropriate tool or tools (cost-benefit analysis, cost-effective analysis; multi-criteria analysis, adaptation pathways), conduct a thorough analysis of each of the options identified.\u00a0 The analysis must include a monetary estimation of at least the costs of implementing each option, and must appropriately include either sensitivity analysis or scenario analysis;<\/li>\n
  5. Identify the risks associated with each option;<\/li>\n
  6. Create a high-level implementation plan;<\/li>\n
  7. Compile your work into the business case template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
