Anshu is an independent consultant working in the construction and development industry for over 22 years and is a strong believer in continuous learning. Anshu received his Masters of Law (LLM) in Energy & Infrastructure Law from York University in Toronto, his Masters of Science (MSc) in International Construction Management from the University of Bath in the UK, his Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Technology Management from BCIT, his Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in Construction Management from BCIT and currently has his CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation and his PMP (Project Management Professional) designation.
Anshu’s doctoral research will focus on Risk Management in Construction & Development in the post pandemic era. The construction industry is resilient and has been tested time and time again, and its members are no strangers to risks. The pandemic though, posed notably greater risks and challenges for the industry. Today, in this post pandemic era, the industry is facing unknown and unparalleled risks, and needs to adapt and adjust accordingly. As Charles Darwin once noted
“it is not the most intellectual of the species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives; but the species that survives is the one that is able best to adapt and adjust to the changing environment in which it finds itself.”
Consequently, Anshu’s research will identify & assess emerging risks in the post pandemic era, in the Construction industry in BC, and will analyze the efficiency of Risk Management techniques applied by the industry.
