His research interests span a wide range of HR and Occupational Health &amp; Safety topics, including:<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Research Interests:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Sickness Presenteeism<\/li>\n<li>Generational Differences in the Workplace (work values, perceptions, beliefs, leadership, safety, and accidents)<\/li>\n<li>Workplace People Challenges (attraction, retention, motivation, and compensation)<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Culture<\/li>\n<li>Occupational Safety Law and Integration<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Conflict Resolution (violence, harassment, and employee relations)<\/li>\n<li>Modern Industrial Relations in Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>David\u2019s doctoral research focuses on generational differences in sickness presenteeism and workplace safety.<\/p>\n<p>He holds a Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) from Queen\u2019s University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing &amp; Human Resources) from the University of Ottawa. He has also earned certificates in Conflict Management and Occupational Health &amp; Safety from Algonquin College.<\/p>\n<p>David has contributed to the community through board service with organizations such as the Roberts\/Smarts Centre and L\u2019Arche-Ottawa, and through various volunteer roles with Scouts Canada.
