Anuli Ausbeth-Ajagu is a Certified Human Resource Leader, Consultant, Board Director, and published author of fiction and prose. She consults for ATCO, a leading utilities company in Alberta, and has had versatile experience in various sectors like education, where she has been an instructor at Bow Valley College, School of Business. She has also had a stint with banking at RBC Royal Bank, as well as an award-winning Insurance Advisor, at RBC Insurance.<\/p>\n

Anuli is a creative mind, and soon to be film maker, as her debut feature indie film is in final stages of post-production. She\u2019s a conference facilitator and convener of several mentorship and empowering global conferences.<\/p>\n

In December 2020, Ms. Ausbeth-Ajagu was appointed by the Ministry of Health Ontario, to serve as a public member of the College of Chiropractors. She has served on committees, including being chair of the Patient Relations Committee. She\u2019s also a board member of John Ware Institute (JWI), TOG Foundation, amongst others.<\/p>\n

Anuli obtained a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Theatre Arts, from the University of Jos Nigeria (1991), Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism, from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (1999), Masters Degree in Mass Communication, from Enugu State University of Technology Nigeria (2002), Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca College Ontario (2015), Certificate in Adult Education from Canadian College of Educators (2018). Director\u2019s Education Program, Institute of Corporate Directors Canada, 2022.<\/p>\n

Prior to immigrating to Canada, she was director of a chain of hotels in Nigeria, founding member of the faculty of Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies (AES), founder of a non – profit organization Youth & Gender Network. She\u2019s also a woman of great faith, mother of three adult children, and survivor of heart-wrenching trauma.<\/p>\n

Anuli\u2019s DBA research will explore Black Entrepreneurial Success in Canada. Part of her research objective is to unearth how Black Immigrant Entrepreneurs can overcome systemic barriers, and leverage social capital for success.
