Currently serving as a Business (Supply Chain) Instructor at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) a post-secondary institution in Calgary Alberta Canada where He brings both academic knowledge and practical experience to the classroom, offering a comprehensive understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory management, and distribution strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Before transitioning to education, Maxwell held key roles in the World Health Organization (WHO), a UNITED Nations agency where he worked as a Supply Chain and Logistics officer and was responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, managing vendor relationships, improving the distribution of essential health supplies, including vaccines, medicines, and personal protective equipment (PPE), to communities and countries in need, especially in emergency, low-resource, hard-to-reach, and conflict-affected areas. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With over 15 years of hands-on experience in global health logistics and public health supply chains, Maxwell equips students with real-world insights and a practical approach to supply chain management.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell\u2019s doctoral research aims to shed light on the vital but often overlooked aspect of logistics and transportation in polio eradication programs in Nigeria and globally. By examining past experiences, achievements, and current challenges, the findings of the study will contribute to the development of evidence-based strategies for improving vaccine delivery systems and advancing global efforts toward a polio-free world.<\/p>\n<p>Omotubi holds an MSc in Transport and Logistics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (2018), a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Mohawk College, Hamilton Ontario (2021), and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Applied Geophysics from the Federal University of Technology Akure (2009).<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;on|on|on&#8221;
