I have been an educator in Ontario and Alberta for the past 16 years, teaching alternative middle and high school programs. I have a Bachelor of Arts Honours (2007), a Bachelor of Education (2008), and a specialist certificate in History from Nipissing University (North Bay, Ontario). I also obtained my Masters of Arts and Educational Leadership and Management from Royal Roads University (2021). I am also the recipient of the Doctoral Entrance and Doctoral Academic Excellence Awards from Royal Roads University. My research interest is teacher education and wellness, specifically focusing on Alternative Education teachers.
