Currently I am an Assistant Professor in the Arts and Cultural Management department at MacEwan University in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications. I am CEO of a boutique consulting company that collaborates with individuals, groups, institutions, and agencies to shape tools that pave the way for inclusive platforms. These platforms seamlessly blend strategy, design, wellness, and art, sparking transformative change.<\/p>\n
My current research interests are focused on leadership, organizational change, cultural entrepreneurship, arts-based research and justice, equity, inclusion embodiment using somatic experiencing. I am working in relation with communities in the arts, culture and heritage sector to support the documentation of racialized people\u2019s narratives which is inspired by my own curiosity and lived experiences in the Canadian arts, culture, and heritage ecosystem. I am drawn to explore ways that organizational strategy and data design processes can be decolonized to create spaces for equity and inclusion in the sector.<\/p>\n
I am currently a doctoral candidate at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. My research topic is developing justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) assessment processes for organizational change incorporating somatic experiencing and critical race theory as foundational considerations.<\/p>\n
I have a bachelor of arts from the University of Alberta, a master\u2019s in public administration from the University of Victoria, and a certificate in gender studies and human rights from Oxford University, I bring a unique blend of academic prowess and real-world experience.<\/p>\n
