My name is Earl Einarson. I am proudly Ktunaxa First Nations, which is situated near modern day Cranbrook, BC, and I live, work, and build community on traditional, unceded Musqueam territory, in modern day Richmond. I am a Sixties Scoop survivor.<\/p>\n

I own and operate KUPI Instructional Design (kupiid.ca), a First Nations owned and operated consulting company.<\/p>\n

I hold a Masters in Learning and Technology along with the BC Provincial Instructors Diploma. My Masters was the study of Andragogical (Adult) frameworks and Learning Theories combined with Technologically mediated approaches to Learning Environments. My own research centered around how may Indigenous-informed knowledge building and community building inform Andragogically sound learning and learning environments. I was awarded the Royal Roads University Founders Award.<\/p>\n

I have worked within Adult Education and Education for over 30 years. I have worked within Indigenous Adult Education specifically as an Instructor, an Instructional Designer, an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, an Indigenous Student Advisor, a Director of an Indigenous non-profit and an Indigenization Specialist.<\/p>\n

I also graduated from BCIT with a Masters Certificate in Digital Development, where I was invited by the Associate Dean to instruct within BCIT’S Digital Development programs on completion of my own program. I taught within the BCIT programs of Digital Development, Coding, and Design for over 7 years. During that time, I was invited to join the Aboriginal Advisory Board to the VP, where we jointly created the school’s Indigenous enablement plan for the school’s vision moving forward.<\/p>\n
