Massa is a social scientist with nine years of experience in research, management, conflict resolution and entrepreneurship. Her research mainly targets policy transformation in Uganda. Massa\u2019s research experience has been drawn from consultancy work undertaken within the academia, international and national institutions in East Africa and Uganda. Massa\u2019s research interests are in areas of: women, peace and security, natural resource management, conflict resolution, refugee displacement, resettlement, reintegration and repatriation.<\/p>\n
Massa\u2019s proposed research focuses on: Psychosocial Experience of Armed Conflict<\/em> and<\/em> Knowledge of Human Security: A perspective of young refugee Women in Uganda.<\/em> A plethora of studies have focused on the impact of armed conflict on women in general. However, little is known on the psychosocial experience of young refugee women, and their knowledge of human security. The following research questions will be answered; What psychosocial experiences have young refugee women faced during armed conflict? What do young refugee women in Uganda know about human Security?
