Currently the CEO of United Way Northumberland, an organization that brings resources and people together to make the community measurably better, Dawson specializes in organizational culture and communications change management. Specially trained in Indigenous Cultural Competency, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and LGBTQ Positive Space, Dawson seeks to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all professional endeavours. An avid practitioner of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, Dawson hopes to study the impact of mindfulness interventions in the workplace under the foci of \u2018Thriving Organizations\u2019 through the Doctor of Social Sciences program at Royal Roads University.
