I am an educator passionate about the future direction of post-secondary education. I bring over 25 years of business management experience, cultivated through extensive work\u00a0in academia and hospitality management. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines (2000) and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) (2008). In 2014, I completed my Master of Arts in Tourism Management at Royal Roads University.<\/p>\n
I am an instructor and curriculum developer at the JR Shaw School of Business at NAIT. It is a full-circle moment:\u00a0I am now teaching the same program I took as an international student in Canada. Since 2013, I have designed and delivered outcome-based courses covering various topics in event and tourism management.<\/p>\n
My research interests are in exploring the thematic trends of Canadian doctoral research topics to understand how global uncertainties might intersect with and influence their scholarly activity, shedding light on how postgraduate\u00a0students guide their research towards reimagining futures.<\/p>\n
