Kerra is currently serving as the Executive Director of ClimateWest, a regional climate services hub to enable climate resilience in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In her previous role as the Environment Manager for the City of Leduc, Alberta, she developed and implemented the City’s environmental plans and policies, addressing topics such as waste, water, land use, air, noise, light, clean energy, greenhouse gas reduction and climate change adaptation. She also spent 10 years at the Clean Air Strategic Alliance developing strategies to address air quality issues in a multi-stakeholder, consensus forum.
Kerra has a degree from the University of Alberta in Environmental Physical Sciences. Her calling is to make a difference by inspiring a common vision for the future where our children’s children can live in harmony with each other and with nature.
Kerra expects to complete the Master of Arts in Climate Action Leadership program in January 2023.
