    Nancy is an individual driven by a courageous spirit, challenging the established norms. Her passion lies in fostering a better world by advocating compassion, collaboration, and embracing a zero-waste lifestyle. She identifies herself as a changemaker, adept at listening and collaborating effectively. Her journey as a flourishing entrepreneur has been a profound learning experience.

    To deepen her understanding of climate change, Nancy is pursuing a Master of Arts in Climate Action Leadership at Royal Roads University. Concurrently, she contributes her skills as a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) framework developer at the university.

    In 2019, while seeking eco-friendly options for coffee on-the-go with her cousin Caroline, they conceptualized The Nulla Project. The venture aims to sustain the to-go culture on Vancouver Island in an environmentally conscious manner, eliminating the waste generated by disposable items.

    Professionally, Nancy has shared her insights at various conferences including the Impact Conference (2020), Vancouver Island Economic Summit (2023), and RRU Library Week (2023). Her aspiration is to continuously inspire others to take meaningful action against climate change.

    On a personal front, Nancy embarked on a journey across the country in 2017, seeking a transformative change in her life. Embracing the West Coast lifestyle in Victoria, she seizes new opportunities that come her way. To maintain balance amidst a bustling schedule, she dedicates time to yoga, cherishes moments with friends, and enjoys the company of her beloved cat, Sergeant Pepper.
