Think Global, Link Local 2022 on Friday, March 11th 8:30-11:30AM (tix $15)
Online event via Zoom
What is Think Global, Link Local (TGLL)?
TGLL is an annual networking event for those interested in the work of NGOs (Non-governmental organizations) and NPOs (Non-profit organizations)–even if you don’t know too much about what these are, this is a fantastic way to learn, especially if you’re interested in local and global efforts to help others
How it works
Students from Vancouver’s Lower Mainland and beyond will get the chance to talk with leaders from nonprofit organizations. Also, you will hear an address from Nora Sahatciu, the Sustainable Development Officer in the UN Development Coordination Office, as well as this year’s keynote speaker, Jaime Webbe, the CEO & President of the United Nations Association Canada!
After the address, there will be networking sessions where you can ask anything you’d like to the Table Captains who will be more than happy to explain how their organization works, and their experiences with working or volunteering with NGOs & NPOs!
After this, there will be a coffee raffle with winners receiving the opportunity to sit down with a UNAC Board Member who all have extensive experience in the field.
There are a limited number of tickets available for free, for those in need. Please email thinkgloballinklocal@gmail.ca to see if there are still some available if you are in need.
Tickets are only $15
Organized by United Nations Association of Canada (Vancouver branch)
