Royal Roads University will be hosting a “Map the System” challenge where top winners will be sent to participate in the national championships with other students from across Canadian universities.

Map the System is a one-of-a-kind challenge that requires students to use a systems-thinking approach to demonstrate a deep understanding of a pressing social or environmental challenge. Research a social or environmental problem that matters to you and gain the skills in systems thinking to understand ways to address it. Take part in the Map the System Canada competition and have a chance to present on a global scale.

  • An opportunity to learn more about a social or environmental issue you care about.
  • A challenge to map out the problem & landscape of current solutions, then identify gaps and missing opportunities for positive change.
  • Different than a traditional business plan competition!
  • Run by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with partner institutions around the world each running their own competition.
  • A competition where teams around the world come together to win prizes.

A chance to present at the Global Final event in Oxford.

Student Registration Deadline is Tuesday January 31st, 2023. Students can learn more and register by visiting the MapTheSystem.ca website.
