The Learning and Innovation Centre (LIC) is open and ready to welcome you, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for access to online learning technologies, and to individual and small-group workspaces. <\/b><\/p>\n
The safety and security of all coming to campus is of utmost importance to us. When visiting campus, please be aware of the following:<\/p>\n
Physical Distancing of 2 metres is in effect. Please follow the markers set up in the lobby and open areas such as the lounge. Additionally, please adhere to the maximum number of occupants for rooms and elevators as posted. Face masks are mandatory though not provided, and the use of them does not affect the maximum occupancy of rooms and elevators. <\/b><\/p>\n
Booking a room: <\/b>To book a space please book online at www.royalroads.ca\/bookaroom or contact our Welcome Desk team at guestservices@royalroads.ca or 250-391-2511 for assistance. Request for space beyond the LIC or that requires other resource team support such as media services will be shared with the Campus Services Scheduling Office for further review to align with campus posture requirements. <\/b><\/p>\n
Arriving on campus: <\/b><\/p>\n
Parking lots and roads are open, and parking rates are in effect. For daily parking, we suggest P4 or P3.<\/p>\n
Enter through the front entrance of the LIC and sign in here as well. This area has been redesigned with a plexiglass barrier for our safety and yours.<\/p>\n
A member of our custodial team disinfects high touch point surfaces twice per day and all areas within the LIC after hours. For your peace of mind, every room within the LIC has a sign on the door indicating the last time the touchpoints were disinfected. All breakout rooms and galleys have disinfecting spray and paper towels in the event you wish to sanitize the space before or after using it. Also, hand sanitizer is located next to the elevator on the main level, for your convenience.<\/p>\n
Habitat Caf\u00e9 is closed until further notice. The Campus Store is open Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
