Are you a Royal Roads student? Are you new in town? Did you recently arrive in Victoria with just a couple of suitcases, tons of dreams, and the courage to start anew? Does living on a “student budget” make shopping for clothes a luxury you can’t afford?

Come to the 1st Royal Roads “New to Me” Clothing Rally on January 11 from 11:30 to 14:30 at the Grant Quarterdeck. The RRU community pitched with personal donations to help stock or refresh your wardrobe with pre-loved and well-cared clothing items for men, women, children and even babies!

Every student is welcome! Come, look around, try things on, choose and take home as many items as you need or want for you and your family! No strings attached, no requisites or fees.

After the Rally, we will donate any remaining clothes to the Victoria Women in Need Community Cooperative (WIN). If you too have any clothes you want to donate, feel free to bring them the Student Engagement Office (Library 309) on the following dates from 10:00 to 15:00:

    1. January 3rd to 5th
    2. January 9th and 10th

But don´t worry, that´s NOT a requisite!

Begin the year with “new to you” outfits that’ll make you shine while saving money (you don’t need to pay top dollar to look fantastic!). Protect the environment by not buying new items and giving clothes another chance to serve their purpose, and join a community that cares for you and your family. Welcome to Royal Roads!
