GOVERNMENT OF CANADA HIRING INITIATIVE

As a goal to connect with Canadian talent emerging from universities, the Government of Canada is hosting hiring initiatives in the final weeks of May and through June.  Although all students are invited to attend to explore and learn about different career pathways, domestic students and students with refugee status are most qualified to apply for Federal career opportunities.

Who we are:

The CBSA Real Property, Western Portfolio is currently looking for two AS02/AS03 Facilities Officers and an AS05 Senior Project Officer.  The positions would be via telework for now, but the candidates would be expected in the regional office at 1611 Main Street, Vancouver, or on site as required throughout BC and Yukon.

Day in the life:

Real Property includes a diverse portfolio of work including: tenant direct, accommodations, construction, legislated air and marine mode projects or facility management. Working with various external stakeholders, property managers, owner/operators. There is a high level of client engagement, and travel is required for site visits. There is on the job training as well as a formalized training plan.

CBSA is working toward a Hybrid Work Model, including teleworking and working in an shared office environment.
