Hi everyone
I know you are probably reeling with the demands of course work and life, but I wanted to make sure you didn't miss this seminal report. Even if you don't have time to read now, suggest you download it for reading and a resource later. The executive summary (link below) provides a good overview and is very readable.
This report details the macro economic costs of climate change and climate inaction in Canada - providing clear and pressing economic arguments for taking action. It is a well research, solidly based in science report, and presents a clear argument for taking proactive adaptation measures, and mitigation measures to reduce financial risks and costs. Recognizing of course that not everything is about money, but this frames the challenge and the costs and benefits in monetary language which, as we know, is one of the most compelling discourses in mainstream culture.
