Sue Lewis
Sue Lewis is a managing director and senior consultant for an Alberta-based management consulting firm. As a managing director Sue holds responsibility for securing all contracts and business development and completing direct client support in her role as senior consultant. Sue’s primary clients are in health, social care and public sector organizations. Sue specializes in organizational development and effectiveness and change management strategies and solutions. Sue knows that successful relationships are foundational in securing sustainable change outcomes and helps organizations build behavioral frameworks that prompt communication and compassion. Continually pushing herself and leading by example Sue has fostered her passion for learning and leadership in her roles from bedside nurse to executive leader. Sue holds certificates, diplomas or degrees in: Adult Education, Nursing, Research and Evaluation, Project and Change Management, Business Administration, Leadership and Improvement Strategy. Sue holds a Master of Arts in Leadership (2015) from Royal Roads University where she completed her master’s work, The Mindful Leader: Resilient, Enlightened and Effective through Transformational Change with Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. This work led Sue to the University of the Fraser Valley where she is completing a graduate certificate in Mindfulness Based Teaching and Learning. Whilst in Health, Government and as a Consultant Sue has completed systemic workplace reviews and provincial consultations to help improve the services for and lives of Albertans. Sue’s doctoral work will investigate whether mindful leadership can be implemented and exist within strategic, future focused public sector organizations.
