I long had an ambition to pursue a post graduate doctorate that enables me study human behavior and that of society at a variety of levels. The DSocSci program in Royal Roads University is a perfect fit for my ambition. At the end of the four-year Doctorate in Social Sciences study, I will be sufficiently equipped with the requisite knowledge, skills and the expertise needed to better understand and undertake research into relevant social issues with problem resolution mindset. My interest is to investigate “Gender Perspectives of Cybersecurity Consciousness and Safety in Families”. Technology and cyberspace have become part of humanity and society. Therefore, understanding cybersecurity consciousness from the gender perspective and how this links to family safety is crucial.
