I have worked at Computronix for almost 30 years. With about 225 employees in Edmonton and Denver, Computronix provides regulatory software for government. We specialize in software for land management (like building planning and permitting), and alcohol, cannabis, and gaming regulation. These projects often take 2 to 3 years and millions of dollars to implement, and often support changes to regulations and the organizational structure. Without broad based organizational support, these projects are at risk. I chair of the board of directors at Computronix, and I also lead the change management practice, which oversees all the organizational change need to support the project. My M.A. in global leadership was focused on building a change management framework. My Doctorate will look at the correlation between the perceived psychological safety within the organization and the willingness of front-line staff to engage and participate in change; feeling the associated risks of change are not only tolerated but encouraged.
