Alejandra Chacon Gallardo

I am a Mexican lawyer, graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, and a Lacanian psychoanalyst with a strong commitment to social justice. I have participated in Mexico’s integration into international agreements, promoted inclusive policies for refugees and Indigenous peoples, contributed to the design of peacebuilding strategies for the state of Chiapas during an armed conflict, and advised the Mexican Banks Association on strategies to address the national economic crisis in 1995.

As a psychoanalyst, I worked with children at the Mexican National Psychiatric Children’s Hospital and at a boys’ orphanage. For over 20 years, I have worked with adults, supporting them in confronting fear, anxiety, and resistance, and guiding them in the search for purpose and meaning in life.

I am the founder of Respect Under Construction, a Mexican company that produces content to inspire peace and equity, which has received multiple global recognitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Global Leadership, with a focus on planetary health and sustainable development, from Royal Roads University, where I have served as Associate Faculty in the Bachelor of Business Administration in Innovation and Sustainability.

In 2023, I founded Regenerative Futures Consulting Corp., a Canadian organization focused on strengthening human capacities and empowering individuals and communities as agents of change to address global crises, such as climate change, through a systemic and transgenerational perspective. Regenerative Futures Consulting works with institutions and communities in Mexico, Canada, and internationally to build human capacity and develop strategies for sustainable, transgenerational change.

My research focuses on the impact of persuasive technology on human and social behaviour.
