Kory Cheshire
Doctoral Student
Kory Cheshire is a newly recruited instructor for Keyano College in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Kory is responsible for the Sociology department within the School of University Studies, Career Programs and Academic Upgrading.

Rachel Claus
Doctoral Student
Rachel Claus is a Research Assistant who works with researchers and organizations to develop evaluation strategies to improve effectiveness. Claus believes that research needs to go beyond knowledge production in order to be useful in solving problems; the process is as important as the product.

Wendy Gao
Doctoral Student
I am Wei (Wendy) Gao who is an associate professor at the Communication University of China. I have 15 years of teaching experience in the area of the history of cinematography and photography.

Lan Luong
Doctoral Student
Lan strives to live wholeheartedly; living life powerfully and a life she loves. Lan lived in Saskatchewan for over a decade when she arrived to Canada at the age of 5 with her family before moving to British Columbia, where she currently resides in the lower mainland.

Vivienne Momoh
Doctoral Student
Vivienne Momoh has over 20 years of local and international industry experience traversing several industries (energy, financial and education sectors). With specialties in educational leadership, international projects, programming, and content design, Momoh served in several capacities across Western Canada, Central Asia, and Africa.

Joan Owen
Doctoral Student
Joan Owen is a life-long learner who has a passion for the humanities and being of service to those in her community through coaching, sharing, conversations, and kindness. Joan believes her purpose is to be of service to others through encouraging them to be their best selves.

Shawna Yamkovy
Doctoral Student
Shawna is a member of the Łútsël K’é Dene First Nation, located on the shores of Great Slave Lake in the beautiful Northwest Territories. Shawna is a proud Dënesųłı̨né/Ukrainian raised in Edmonton, with a strong connection to her family.
