Dan Spring (he/him)

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) BC Certified Teacher working online to provide support to Autistic and neurodivergent children and adults throughout the province. I have an interdisciplinary MA from Antioch University in the social sciences with a focus on Neurodiversity. I have a bachelor’s degree in Education from UBC and one in English from the University of Waterloo. I created an environmental organization that involved a small group of neurodivergent people to clean up the headwaters of Kootenay Lake, a process that took two years. I am planning three separate projects with charitable organizations and universities in British Columbia, Europe and Africa that would provide counselling, training and educational reform to Autistic people specifically in low-income brackets. My doctoral research interest is specifically in taking a social systems approach to supporting Autistic and neurodivergent people worldwide.
