Learning Outcome Assessment Criteria
Competency 1: Climate Adaptation and Resilience Literacy
1.1 Evaluate core concepts of climate adaptation and resilience with a critical lens to solve problems and make climate action recommendations
  • Identifies and differentiates Western and Indigenous concepts related to adaptation and resilience
  • Accurately describes and applies core concepts
  • Identifies and applies critical theoretical lens to  climate action problems and opportunities
  • Frames recommendations grounded in relevant Western and/or Indigenous theory and practice
1.2 Use evidence-informed climate adaptation strategies to develop or select feasible solutions, recommendations, and action plans
  • Locates reliable sources of evidence for climate adaptation strategies
  • Assesses reliability and validity of the evidence-informing strategies
  • Compares and contrasts relative? merits of a range of adaptation strategies
  • Applies strategies to inform and evaluate solutions, recommendations, and/or action plans
1.3 Examine the role of reconciliation as a component of climate adaptation and low carbon resiliency
  • Describes purpose and history of reconciliation
