Andrew Hughes has 16+ years of experience in health care & leadership, currently holding the position of Executive Director Clinical programs with Interior Health in British Columbia.

Andrew’s initial focus for his DBA will look at Advancing Organizational Resilience through Innovative Emergency Management Strategies: A Comprehensive Examination of Business Practices and recommendations.

Andrew brings a wealth of experience with various strategic, planning, and operational senior leadership roles in community, acute, tertiary, primary care, access and efficiency, and pandemic response. Andrew has also achieved his: Masters in Social Work through the University of British Columbia, a Masters Certificate in Leadership through Royal Roads University, a Masters fellowship in Leadership through the faculty of Public Health, University of Alberta, & is currently designated as a Certified Health Executive through the College of Health Care Leadership, is Lean certified, and an adjunct professor at UBC for the Faculty of Health Sciences.
