David Dalphy

David Dalphy brings extensive leadership, specialist, and consulting experience across a broad spectrum of Human Resources functions. His expertise spans Employee and Labour Relations, Occupational Health & Safety, Organizational Behaviour, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management, and Employee Communications.

With a strong track record of advising leaders in both public and private sectors across diverse industries—including high tech, start-ups, manufacturing, non-profits, pulp & paper, printing, distribution, and health care—David is committed to optimizing the “People Factor” in organizations. He champions respectful, safe, engaged, and employee-centric workplaces as a foundation for achieving strategic goals and enhancing productivity, safety, performance, and satisfaction.

David’s doctoral research focuses on generational differences in sickness presenteeism and workplace safety.

He holds a Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) from Queen’s University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing & Human Resources) from the University of Ottawa. He has also earned certificates in Conflict Management and Occupational Health & Safety from Algonquin College.

David has contributed to the community through board service with organizations such as the Roberts/Smarts Centre and L’Arche-Ottawa, and through various volunteer roles with Scouts Canada. He has also taught as a part-time instructor and seasonal lecturer at the University of Ottawa and University College of the Cariboo.
