Mo Silpachai
Sukanda Silpachai (Mo) is a strategic and results-driven healthcare leader who works with multidisciplinary care teams and organizational leaders to strengthen operational performance, regulatory excellence, and workforce sustainability in complex senior living environments. Silpachai believes that sustainable healthcare delivery is achieved through strong leadership systems, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement aligned with workforce engagement and quality assurance.
Mo has held progressive leadership roles across British Columbia, including Administration Team Lead at Sidney All Care Residence, Business Office Manager with AgeCare, and Administrative and HR Coordinator with Victoria Chinatown Care Society. Her experience spans site operations, human resources, payroll, financial management, occupational health and safety leadership, accreditation readiness, policy governance, and employee engagement, supporting high-performing organizational cultures and regulatory compliance. Mo is a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) through University Canada West and holds certifications in Joint Occupational Health and Safety, Workplace Investigations, First Aid and CPR, FoodSafe, and digital marketing strategy.
Mo’s research interests include workforce sustainability, operational excellence, leadership systems, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and business model innovation in long-term care. Her doctoral research will investigate workforce shortages, burnout, retention challenges, and operational resilience within British Columbia’s senior living sector. This research aims to develop scalable, evidence-based business models that improve recruitment and retention, strengthen leadership capacity, enhance regulatory performance, and support sustainable, high-quality care delivery.
Mo holds a Master of Business Administration from University Canada West (2026), a College Diploma in Business Administration Management from Sprott Shaw College (2019), a Master of Sciences (2009), and a Bachelor of Science from Kasetsart University, Bangkok (2006).
