Susan Rochefort

Susan Rochefort is a business consultant and associate faculty at Royal Roads University and BCIT. She has enjoyed a variety of internal and external change agent roles over the last 25 years. She has worked in the oil and gas, financial services, professional services, and manufacturing industries in positions such as analyst, auditor, controller, project manager, financial consultant, and software instructor. Susan’s business and teaching methods follow a lean management approach which revolves around respect for customers, elimination of waste, and embracing a continuous improvement mindset. Susan has also successfully launched three entrepreneurial ventures in the professional services sector including business consulting, psychology services, and real estate services.

Susan’s research aims to develop a change management approach to assist resource constrained organizations (RCOs) with change management decisions. The approach will identify static and dynamic change elements to aid organizational change actors in monitoring and managing survivability. The study will draw from the field of psychology where empirically validated instruments have been developed to assist with professional decision-making. 

Rochefort holds a Master of Business Administration from Royal Roads University (2021). She received the Chancellor and Founders awards. She also has a Master Certificate in Project Management from the University of Victoria (2006).
