Activity 8: Child Rights Photo Exhibition
Why we like it: This is a good way to build on different kinds of learning and provide fun
options to take some of this learning and creativity home.
What you need: This requires students to take photos at home (with a camera, a
phone, or a computer) and a way to email, upload or print photos.
How long: variable
How it works:
- Homework – ask students to choose one right from the Child Friendly UNCRC
Poster. Ask them, with their parents’ help, to take a photo that represents that
right at home. Send the photo(s) to the teacher (digitally or in print), with a short
description of the right and how the image represents the right. - Hold a digital or physical child rights photo exhibition with the images and the
text.
