Sariata Froko

Sariata Musah Froko is a Deputy Director, Legal at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) an Agency under the Ministry of Transport responsible for Driver and Vehicle Licensing. Froko manages the Legal Department and the Board Secretariat of the DVLA. She established an NGO for representing poor and vulnerable women in court pro bono, offer counseling services for the youth and serves as an Executive on the Board of two private companies in delivery services and in real estate.

Froko’s research will examine how Public Service Governing Boards are constituted in Ghana as well as whether good governance if ascertained can lead to improvement in organizational performance. This study aims to add on to the body of knowledge regarding how to ascertain good governance that leads to improvement in organizational performance.

Froko holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Sociology from University of Ghana, Legon, (2004), Bachelor of Laws Degree from University of Ghana, Legon (2008), a Master of Philosophy in Social Work from the University of Ghana, Legon (2014). Professional Executive Master in ADR from Gamey & Gamey Institute (2014). She is a qualified lawyer licensed to practice in Ghana by the Ghana School of Law (2011) and a certified Alternative Dispute professional.
