Hi all and welcome to the newly re-designed CALS505. I'll be your guide on this ten-week journey!
I'll do a quick intro to myself in our first synchronous session on Wednesday this week, but if you want to know more about me, you can find me on LinkedIn or my website.
Please take some time to review the assignments and readings. We'll be diving into some of them right away on Wednesday during our first synchronous session. (Note that, though the Rosabeth Kanter HBR article is optional because it has restricted access, it's a good read and I will review it. So please take a look if you can.)
I know some of you have scheduling challenges and have tried to mix up our synchronous meeting times to accommodate that. If you know you can't make a session, please email me in advance so I know who to expect. denise.withers@royalroads.ca
Also, please note the two synchronous sessions scheduled for your final presentations in August. You must attend at least one of those to make your presentation.
Finally, you don't need to wait for our first session to make your post in the Unit 1 Forum as outlined in the Unit 1 Activities or to start working on Assignment 1. 🤓
